Default toyota tacoma 4 cyl question?
later today im going to look at a 4cyl 2002 tacoma double cab automatic with around 45000 miles on it. i was wondering if this engine will be able to handle any sort of offroading(not serious offroading though) and if it will be able to take all of my snow stuff and friends up to the mountain with ease. around how fast will it go at top speed?

moderate off roading yes, top speed around 85 with 3 people.

Depends if its the 2rz or the 3rz( 2.4 or 2.7) 4cly. Either way you can off-road these things pretty hard. Top speed should be around 95 with the speed limiter Id imagine. (im not sure, my truck is off highway vehicle now and it hauls!)
