Default hello, i have a 1989 toyota p/u 22re 2.4 l engine i am getting poor fuel millage i have a new tune..
...up plus new? plugwires fuel filter etc my only guess is it may have a bad fuel injecter so how would you do a fuel pressure test on the system and was are the specs for this engine

I'd need to know exactly what your mileage is before I could provide exact help.































However, best way to check injectors in the short term is to tip a bottle of injection cleaner into your tank next time you fill up. This generally works, unclogging anything that is amiss. (if you haven't played with your injectors they should be fine).































Actual pressure testing involves expensive equipment and any problems "should" have been picked up during tune up.































Having said that, if your fuel consumption is really so high that you are noticing it, I'd be looking for a leak.

If you are sure that it has something to do with the fuel injector or anything with the fuel system, I recommend trying this product. It worked wonders on my 1992 Toyota Pickup. It increased the power and gas mileage of my truck.
