Default Should i pay $2,500 for a 1985 Toyota Pickup with 243,697?
The truck is very nice looking, never played in the mud, very nice motor, he is putting a new carb in it. No lift with new 32 alterain tires, toolbox, camo dash, and camo door panel, has a cd player, bench seat. How much is it really worth?

maybe a 1000 or less its a 1985 model sure it might look great but still its a 1985 i might pay that for a 1995 model really type how to check used truck into search box wil get you a check list to help u look for problems an dyou can try ebay for same truck see what others might be selling for

I won't even consider buying it. Yes it is Toyota, but it doesn't mean it will last forever. Save your money with lesser mileage. Even if it is free money get something worth 25 hundred.

Any Toyota is worth the money. It sounds like it is nicely broken in HOWEVER, if it was not properly maintained you may need to get that done. But you can never go wrong with a Toyota.

Make sure all the maintenance was done, timing chain, check the valve noise, see if any engine work has been done. I would pay 2000 grand for it. These trucks when taken care of will go well over 300000 and with a fresh rebuild you can go another 300000. Easy engine to work on and a great overall truck. Good luck and I say you will not be dissapointed I have 2 85 trucks I love

three things: try to talk him down, all toyotas have been in mud, and be prepared to put a several hundred into it
