2005 Corolla Engine Noises?
My car was taken to the Toyota dealership for shifting problems. I was told the engine had loose bolts, which is a common problem among this model and make. My car was still under warranty, so the car technician fixed the problem for free.
A couple days later my engine starts making noises upon startup. The noise sounds sqeaky like birds chirping. Sometimes I'll hear the noise after getting off the freeway.
I'm going back to the dealership soon, but I would like to have an understanding of my car problem. I am wondering if the problem started when they fixed my car the first time.
I hear the noises when I am parked or when I am driving slowly on the local streets.
I don't notice the noise when I'm on the freeway, maybe because I always have the windows up when I'm driving on highways.
