Toyota corolla hatch 1987?

ok i got a car for my 16th birthday, was $500. My uncle "fixed" it as the head had gone. That was fine but lately my car has to be jump started every time i want to drive it. and when it is going it sounds like its going to die and blow up or something. It leaks masive amounts of water (i have to fill it every time i go for a drive and some times after) and oil. Is it possible the head has gone in it again? or its way bigger then that? I don't know if i should buy another motor or if its worth fixing. Any ideas? thanks

i would say the head is gone again OR the engine was damaged internally when head gasket originally failed

how is the rest of the car ??

how does it drive?

any rego ?

you could get a 2nd hand motor from wreckers if you think the rest of the car is ok ,most will give you some sort of warranty

rebuilding the motor is expensive but theres no way of telling if its damaged internally without opening it up and looking

i wouldnt just replace heas gasket again,chances are motor has damaged bearings ect

get a 2nd hand motor or get another car

find where the leaks are coming from and fix them, if they are internal leaks then the head wasnt replaced properly.
