Default Toyota Tacoma 4X4 struts & shocks; What kind shall I get?
I sometimes carry a 1000 pound cap-over, pop up camper on my 96 Toyota Tacoma 4WD and my stock shocks and struts are wasted in need of replacement. What kind can I get, consdiering teh load and also my distain of washboard desert roads? I really don;t want my eye teeth falling out because some brand of shock is in voque. Yet, I need something heavier duty -- at least in the rear, due to the load I sometimes carry. The vehcile has strust in teh front; shocks in the rear.































Please, as many folk who can reply, I'd be grateful for the mutitude of opinions.
