Default 1998 Toyota Avalon compressor clutch stuck?

So...started my car this afternoon and my ac compressor clutch froze and ripped the belt off. Is there anything I can do to disengage the clutch on the compressor so I can replace the belt(even if it means no AC)?

I'm not concerned about AC. My main concern is freeing up the clutch so my pulley will continue to turn and I can put another belt on.

I can NOT reroute the belt because the compressor pulley assembly is in the way.

Any ideas on how to quick fix this problem?

Default

you could try to disconnect the electrical connection this might release clutch but if it does not try bypassing the compressor. you also might be able to unbolt the clutch its self from the compressor which would allow it to spin im not for sure about that though ask you local parts dealer or a toyota dealer. and you also might have ran out of freon which might have locked the clutch but that's rare
