Default what is better. . toyota tacoma extended cab or dodge dakota extended cab?
I want to buy a new truck. I have my eye on a 2005 toyota tacoma extended cab in blue. But I seen a dodge dakota extended cab in black. Is one better than the other?

Neither!!! Personally I'm a ford and chevy man but if I was stuck with these two choices then I'd go for the toyota because dodge is crap.

Consumer reports consistently rates the Toyota much higher (much better than average) than any Dodge truck (average). The Dodge 4WD is considered worse than average. Use kbb.com and Edmunds.com to see what price you should be paying in your area for a decent deal.

The 05 Tacoma is pretty solid; I used to work at a Toy dealer, and they didn't see to have many problems. Can't go wrong with the Tacoma...honestly, I think they're built better than Tundras as well.
