Also, what ar ethe percentages of these Tacomas failing. 99 Toyota Tacoma here, taking it in this week.

What "test"? I know of no test that forces a dealer to reimburse you for a truck that old. And what's "failing"? And who would you or he get this "check" from? Did you buy this truck from him recently? If so, was some kind of warranty involved. You really aren't giving us anything to go on here.

I assume that you are talking about the frame rust thing. If you live in the rust belt, Chicago, Detroit etc. the chances are pretty good it may fail. Call your dealer and ask him what your options are. I have heard that some trucks are just getting new frames now.
