I have no intention of ever getting a Prius. However very much like last summer when gas prices went up significantly, dealers were charging well above MSRP for them and very much the same thin will be occurring now.

My understanding is that pricing depends on the dealership. Some are adding a bunch of dealer-installed options (raising the price), most are selling at MSRP, while a few are offering discounts...

SF is the best place to find a Prius you want for the price you want. I bought mine from there two years ago. Awesome car. And yes i paid $500 below MSRP.
