Well I believe you are talking about cars in compact suv category.
From RAV4 to Landrover is pretty significant jump for price wise.
But if you do 800 miles a week, i suggest you getting a van or mid-size luxury sedan. Although these SUV are pratical for long trips, it can give you pain in the back, and give you numb butt, LOL.. trust me.
And sedan gets better gas mileage than SUV.
But in this category there are:
Hyundai Tuscon (Compact),
Hyundai Santa Fe (mid-size),
Hyundai Veracruz (Top of the SUV)
Toyota Highlander (there's Hybrid model for this.)
Lexus GS something....
Dodge Durango
Dodge Joruney
Jeep Compas
Chevy Trailblazer
Pontiac Torrent
Ford Escape (Hybrid too)
Honda CR-V
Kia Sportage
Kia Sorrento
Kia Borrengo
That's some of the cars i can think at the momment...
I suggest you getting a Hyundai or Kia car instead of Toyota RAV4... Although RAV4 good, I believe Toyota ppl are getting arrogant and not putting the best quality in the car. And their sales world wide have dropped more than bankrupt GM.... so that should say something, and Hyundai and Kia are getting up there, beating Toyota now and yeah...
Plus it's the best bang for your buck, best deal, great factory warranty, and standard features and safety features.
