The Leak is probably from a break in the flex pipe. Or near the flange...Toyota used stainless steel in the exhaust tubing. But the stress around those flexable areas does cause leaks. To really fix it properly you need to replace it. Find the part at a slavage yard and replace it.
Or you can cut the leaking part. And have someone weld on a patch. Or a small section of tubing and have it welded into place.
The cost of the material would be like dollars....Welding itself is not hard. You would just have to pay shop rate. $60 an hour...it would take anyone NOT lazy mechanic less than 30 min...to get the patch job done.
