An engine is basically an air pump, and the way to increase power is to find a more efficient way of getting air in and out of your engine. Superchargers do this quite well but are priced in the thousands. A more realistic approach would be a cold air intake kit from someone such as K&N Filters. A less restrictive intake will allow the engine to breathe easier, and cooler air is more dense - which is better for power and can produce up to another 20HP. If you can't find a cold air intake kit, at least replace the paper filter with a washable, reusable filter like the aforementioned K&N. You can also look for a plug-in tuner that will advance the timing a bit, etc. These usually are good for a few HP but at the cost of MPG. These are all solutions that fall under the $200 range and will provide a seat-of-the-pants noticable difference. Good luck!
