It already does at 12500 lb's with 5.7 385 Hp 425 torque engine. It is also fastest pick up by far as torque starts at open as soon as you step on pedal ratjher then having a band where you get most power Not 2010, at least not what they havebeen saying.

Toyota has not mentioned any Diesel engine for the 2010 model of Tundra trucks yet. I do work for a Toyota dealership as a Fleet Manager. The Crew Max now has a towing capcity of 10,400 lbs with the 5.7 liter engine with 381 horsepower and 401 ft lbs of torque. Toyota now can out tow, out brake and out run any of it's compitions except those 2500 and 3500 series truck with diesel engines for towing. Also it will hold it's resale value better than the domestic trucks.
