Yes the GTS is a very good car. Its very reliable. It also comes with the better engine which is a 16 valve dohc engine. It doesnt have a whole lot of power but enough to get the wheels spinning and to get you sideways.

a toyota corolla is a very safe, inexpensive, and reliable car. they're easy to maintain, and usually have good fuel economy, handling ect..you should probably get a VIN check from carfax or if you're buying from a dealer ask for one so you don't have to pay. you want to make sure there hasn't been any severe accidents, or say it was submerged underwater ect. also it's helpful to know if it was used as a rental or not, and you can also see when it passed and/or failed state inspections and the like..

I had a 84 Supra...Similar car. Had a bunch of mechanical issues and was always in the shop.

An AE86 is a great car. It's a sturdy, simple no-frills car with good performance, a durable drivetrain, a good support network (www.club4ag.com) and great potential for upgrades.































It's also Keiichi Tsuchiya's favorite car and Kei Office makes plenty of products for them. Yes, a humble AE86 is the favorite car of the Drift King.































If you found one for sale in good shape, get a second opinion from fellow AE86 owners and grab it!
