Problem with my 05 tundra?

Ok yesterday my truck died no big deal. So I go to jump start it and it would only click until it finally started. So I let it run for a bit to charge than I got in and started to drive, I noticed that my stereo and clock weren't working and my headlights and blinkers wouldn't work either but my hazard lights, my brights, and all my dashboard lights were working, excepth the dash lights were all solid(check engine light etc.). So I decided to still drive it. When I would push on the gas pedal it would rev to about 2 rpms and stop, even if I have it floored. It would go about 8 mph as if it was in cruise control because I could take my foot off the gas and still go but it wouldn't let me accelerate faster than that. Also when I turn the truck off it won't start without being jumped. Could I have blown the fuses? Anybody know what's wrong with it? Thanks!

It sounds like there are at least two separate issues from what you described; if just by chance it was jump started backwards, you may have blown several fuses and maybe one of the larger 80 or 100A main fuses. the EFI fuse controls power to the electronic throttle system and it may be in what they call "Limp Home" mode which is why there is no throttle response. As for starting, it sounds as though the starter has open contacts. It is mounted in a tough spot- under the intake manifold. Check all your fuses with a test light. If you are not good at electrical, it may be time to take it in to the shop. Good Luck--T&T
