Default where can i find a h/o alternator for a 2005 corolla le?
i have a 2005 toyota corolla le & need to get an h/o alternator for it & can't find one anywhere. it has a 80 amp in it now but it went out due to my stereo & I'm still upgrading so it's a must to get a h/o alternator. I'm looking for a 150 amp but 100 to 300 amp will do but can only find them for other cars. where can i find one for my car? also my friend has a 99 vw passat wagon & is having the same problem where can he find one? how much would the cost be to have my alternator rebuilt to higher amps? thanks!!!

Your best bet is to visit a dealership and get one from there...the only issue is, even though you can gaurntee that they will get the exact one you need, it's going to be pricey. Other choices are going to auto parts stores and get them to ship it in or searching the internet which isn't always the most reliable route but can be cheaper.































...but I would choose the dealership first and see where you are after that.
