Where should I get brake pad parts for a 2001 Toyota Camry?
They cost $75 at the dealership, $30 at Auto Parts Warehouse and $25 at Advanced Auto Parts (they also have ones for $75). What is the best manufacturer?
And what tools should I buy to change them?
Is it best to get them from the original equipment manufacturer?
Yes oem are best in all condition rain, dry weather, heat.
You will need axle stands a 14mms ring spanner,a G clamp to push the pistons back and brake bleeding tools as the bleeders will have to be loosened as pushing pistons to avoid damaging abs.
