I agree with the last answer. Also, the way to tell if the Del Sol is an Si is if it has a 1.5 liter or 1.6 liter engine. Look for the stamp on the engine block. If it says D15B7, then it's not an Si and has the SOHC 1.5 liter (102 hp)engine. The Si came with the D16Y8 SOHC VTEC 1.6 liter (127 hp) engine. For some reason, Honda left the VTEC valve cover display off of this engine, but it is VTEC. Another thing confusing about the Del Sol was that there was also a VTEC model that used the B16A2 DOHC VTEC 1.6 liter (160 hp) engine. Because of the confusion, most people don't know that the Si has VTEC as well as the VTEC model and others think that the Si model has the B16A in them. Neither case is true and Honda didn't try to clarify it for the masses.
