Is the blinking light on the dash or on the pedal itself? Sounds kinda weird. I have no idea. If it's on dash, even at bottom of dash, then it might be a fake security device, like other person said. They make cars with that fake blinking red light to simulate a security system. But it's easy to know when they're real and when they're fake.
Don't know if there's anyway to turn that off. If it is fake, it just happens.
But if you notice lots of cops following you and some black unmarked SUV's around your neighborhood.....
