Default How far can a 2010 prius travel on one tank of gas?
I am considering buying a prius and I was curious how long it can travel on a single tank of gas in a city?

No-one knows ... you'll have to wait until 2010 to find out















































Edit ... He doesn't need a Prius ... he already has a car that can take him into the future if he's going to buy a 2010 one now ... we still got a few month left of 2009 buddy ... you can't buy a 2010 stamped car till we're finished with '09

The 2010 Prius has a 11.9-gallon gas tank.































You should be able to get about 500 miles on one tank, give or take 50 miles depending on your driving habits.

About 50% of the fills on my 2004 are in the mid 500s, but it depends on when I fill it up and where I drive. I have received some 600 mile tanks and some 400 miles tanks. Driving style matters too.































The 2010 should do better given the same driving conditions. I would expect to get half the tanks in the high 500s or low 600s.
