Default My instrument panel lights do not work on my '03 Corolla. I have checked every fuse.
Odometer lights, etc.? I recently had a new cd player installed by a friend. The instrument panel lights do not work. They did work for a bit after the install, but it sounded like a fuse blew and then the lights went out. I have checked every possible fuse. The cd player was taken out and all the wires were redone. So, now, I have no clue what it could be!

Turn on your headlights, and turn the panel light knob, to the right.

sounds like your friend shorted the light green wire for illumination to the radio and blew the tail fuse. if you can't find it on the panel, buy a cheap test light and check all the fuses--dont trust your eyes, there can be tiny opens in the fuse that are hard to see. The test light will not lie--there should be power to both sides of the fuses that light. If not, there is your culprit. Good Luck--T&T

By the light switch is a dial and bet he turned it down so no inside lights will come on by mistake. Look in manual for interier lights and will show you where.
