Can a 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7 V8 with a 10000+ pound towing capacity tow a 8500 pound boat?

Default Can a 2007 Toyota Tundra 5.7 V8 with a 10000+ pound towing capacity tow a 8500 pound boat?
The boat alone weigh 8500 pounds and the boat trailer weigh around 2000pounds. Would the 2007 Toyota Tundra handle the tow safely?

If you are right about the 10000+ towing capacity then yeah you should be fine

There is a formula just for what you are asking , it goes like this...































Multiply the rated horse power of the engine times TEN then subtract the curb weight of the vehicle. The answer will be the weight that, that vehicle can safely tow without hurting the vehicle. of course the vehicle can tow more weight than that,but will be detrimental to the vehicle.































This formula is for any and all vehicles.
