How far are you going to tow, also at what speed? If you are towing a short distance, its not a bid deal. I would not recommend towing at highway speeds, or up long or steep inclines.

It'll be fine, even on a long distance trip, its just 600lbs

I've got a Tundra and the previous owner must've hauled a lot of campers. It should be fine. If you go more than a ton over it might mess up the tow hitch a bit but the thing's built tough. The limit is just to discourage customers so they don't blame the manufacturer.
