Default We bought a 2005 Prius, 80k miles, for 12k. Was this a good deal?
The $12k price was after our trade-in, which was valued at $2000, and includes taxes and fees which make $1k of the $12k total.

hahaha hell no you bought the wrong car...there god damn awful, they claim to have a mpg of like 50+ but a show in the uk tested them 4 of em 4 times and all of em were doing around 30-35mpg you bought the wrong car

The miles are 10-15k more than what I see out there for that price. But it's not too bad of a deal.

wow you got ripped off! your telling me you paid 14K for a used 2005 Prius with 80K miles??? That doesnt make any sense...

Seems like a decent deal. Since it's under 85k, is it certified? If so, that's a big plus, and you still have 4 years or 15k left until the hybrid battery's warranty runs out.































I am currently looking into a 2005 with 89k that's listed right under $13k. Because that is higher mileage it won't be certified. I'd say the extra money you spent is worth the car's certification and the warranty that comes with it.
