There are a few ways to tell if your car has ABS. For instance, if you ever felt your brake pedal pulsate while hitting them hard, then that would be the ABS kicking on. Also, under the hood, you would see a box with brake lines coming in and out of it (not to be confused with the master cylinder)... that is the ABS module. The CV axles on an ABS vehicle have a special ring of teeth behind the splined shaft that goes into the wheel hub. This is called the reluctor ring, and the teeth are shaped as such for the wheel speed sensor to receive a signal from, which it sends to the ABS module to let it know the wheels are turning and the rate they're turning at. If you looked at your CV axle, you would be able to see this ring and that should also tell you whether the vehicle is equipped with ABS or not.
