Why do Supra's have so much power?

Default Why do Supra's have so much power?
All i hear about is like 700hp Supras or 1000hp supras, what makes a supra such a powerful car?

The 2JZ-GTE turbocharged engine in the Supra is amazingly well built and capable of handling far more power than the stock ~320 hp. This means that a lot of people have successfully gotten huge amounts of power from it.

When you keep the best engine design ever made, the straight 6, it can handle oodles of power made in it. They are balanced better and the amount of main bearing support offered is very stable.































The BMW uses straight six design and they are very reliable car engines also making good power.
