2007 Prius display turned off, how do I get it back on?

I clicked "Display > Screen Off" a few days ago, and now I can't default my screen to remain on. It works for a minute when I hit "Audio" or "Climate," but it doesn't stay on while I drive, showing Energy or Consumption. How do I get it back?

i'd suggest take it into Toyota.

also, i don't mean to be rude but the Prius is a failure of a so called 'car'.

Push MENU and then Settings and then go to display. You can usually access almost any of your settings from the Menu button. Good Luck--T&T

On the Prius, you can turn off the display. (It'll briefly come up if you use the audio system or Navigation (if installed), and climate buttons on the NHW20.) Unfortunately, it's a different button press sequence to turn it on and turn it off. Poor UI design.

To turn off the display: Press the "Display" button on the dash, then the "Display Off" (or is it "Screen Off"?) softbutton on the display screen.

To turn on the display: Press the "Info" button on the dash, then the "Trip Information" softbutton on the display screen. That should bring back your Energy and Consumption screens.
