does a 98' supra have turbo ?

Default does a 98' supra have turbo ?
i was wondering if a 98 turbo supra comes with factory turbo or is the turbo name for looks ??

yes. they all do. or at least should. it should be a twin turbo. i think they do have some that are n/a.

Not all of them are turbos. From the factory they came either N/A or with twin turbos.

It can either come with a 2jz GE that makes 220hp or the 2JZ GTE that is twin turbocharged that makes 276hp. the best way to find out if it is the GTE is by looking under the hood for the turbo's. many supra owners ditch the stock twin turbo setup for a single turbo set up for better results, that is maybe what is done to the car you are taking about
