Pay for insurance, gas, maintenance first. Having a car that's slow is better than NOT having a fast car.

if i were you i would'nt do anything to it. just save your money for something better later on. but if you do decide to buy performance parts, a turbocharger would make it a little bit faster. just dont rice it out!!!

Corolla S was not meant for speed, don't waste your time and money, save it and use it as a down payment and trade in on something meant to go faster, and look better. That little 1.8L was not meant to make much more power than it already does.
