I know, I've tried like forever to find some oil weights for certan vehicles, even on the web, and you just can't find any!!! Don't know why it's so hard. YOu'd think that'd be first kind of info for a car to find on the web. There are all kinds of oils suggested and needed for various cars, so it's extremely important to find out.
The best bet is to just call a nearby Toyota dealer and as the service and/or parts dept. They can easily tell you. Or even go to dealership, look at a 2010 model on the lot. But a phone call to parts and service dept would let you avoid the car salesmen!!
Unfortunately, I cannot give you the "kind" or "weight", which means 5W20 or 10W30, etc.
But I strongly recommend Castrol oil BRAND. I have a 1991 corolla and it gets a few more mpg with Castrol motor oil. My motorcycle engine even runs smoother with Castrol over any odd brand.
