Why wouldnt I need a pod filter for my corolla?

Default Why wouldnt I need a pod filter for my corolla?
I was thinking of getting a pod filter for my corolla, when a "mechanic" friend of mine said I dont need one because the corolla has a "carburator".































Is this true? and if so, then why wouldnt I need one?

yup you don't need a pod filter on a carburetor as it already has an air filter on the intake inside it, a big circle shaped one. So id say doing that would probalbly decrese air flow too maybe.
