Default in a four cycle egine?
The crankshaft turns 180 in each cycle how far does it turn between each time a particular cylinder fires?

180 degrees per movemont here the order of the cycle















intake stroke then compression then power then exhaust stroke















intake stroke piston rotates crank 180 dergrees compression rotate another 180 degrees power rotates anot 180 so there is 540 dgeress of rotation and exhause is anothere 180 the intake stroke pulls piston down to bottom dead center compression pushers piston to top dead center power pushes down to bottom dead center and exhaust pushes up to top dead center total of 720 degrees of rotation per cycle for a single cylinder

180 degrees in 1 cycle. 360 degrees in 2 cycles 720 degrees in 4 cycles. (that is 2 full revolutions of the crankshaft)
