Default what type of gas for my 2008 toyota solara?
i just got my first car its a toyota solara i just got it a cuple days ago and im at half a tank so i am wondering what type of gas am i suppose to put in, theres like 87 89 91 , plus premium its so confusing, are some gas stations better than others? help please

Regular 87 octane is fine, higher octane is only necessary for high compression or forced induction engines, which the Solara is not. Higher octane will do nothing for your car. Some gas stations ARE better than others but you probably won't notice unless you have a high performance car.

If it takes premium it will say so on your gas door.

I believe premium is recomended for this vehicle, although it will work with regular. Check the owners manual, fuel gauge, or fuel door, one of these will tell you.
