Default car wont start(sometimes) i have an suv and a few days ago it didnt want to start. i checked the...
...oil level ...? and it was on low. i added and since toyotas have a sensor in the engine wouldnt let it start if there was no oil. everything was fine then a few days later it would start in the morning then sometimes it wouldnt. it turns over but it wont start.(only after 2 tries...it will) anyways i bought a fuel addeditve to help clean up since it sounds like its not getting enough gas since when it starts the idle goes up like im pressing on the gas. any ideas? i know it can be anything.....could it be spark plugs?































i added the fuel additives yesterday and seems ok today. havent had any problems with starting the car. pls let me know if u experienced the same problem. thanks















its a 1999 toyota 4runner 2 whl drive

Could be anything, i'd change the plugs. Good idea on the fuel additive, and watch the oil level, when you fuel up.

What kind of SUV is it? What year?































It could be a spark issue.































It's not Fuel Delivery. If it is an Additive won't help. Unless you're getting your gas in Mexico, the US has standards set for cleansing agents is Gas.































I really need to know how old it is, etc to help you.
