First the best reason is the gas mileage. You have the best mileage with a toyota. Then they are just a reliable car. You can't go wrong when you buy a Toyota.

You must be thinking of the Scion xB.































It's a Toyota, what more do you need to know .

The Scion xB is known as the Toyota bB in other countries where the Scion is not available. Another car that is very similar to the bB is the Daihatsu Materia.































Back to your question, basically it's the low petrol consumption and its unique styling. Not many car makers has something in that boxy shape (other than the Nissan Cube).

I just bought a 2009 xb - my main reason was the space it provides. I have a Nissan 350z roadster and I couldn't get more than one suitcase in it. The Xb is compact and provides great fuel efficiency, but at the same time it's extremely roomy and provides all the space I need to haul stuff if necessary. It's a great car and fun to drive!
