I can't figure out how to fold down the rear seat. Is there a latch or something?

Open glove box. Get out owner's manual. Consult it.

either ur gona have these 2 plastic pulley things near the headrests of the actual seats..n u just pull them up. if not, in the trunk, you should have a pulley thing on the side of the trunk or something to release behind the actual seat.

Top of the Seat.

There's a small cloth loop.

Pull it and it will unlatch the Rear Seat allowing it to fold down.

Done .

The release levers are in the trunk. They are below the deck lid toward the back.

My 2005 has knobs in the trunk that release the seats. One for each side. I suspect yours is the same. They are at the top of the trunk opening on each side.

What else didn't the dealer tell you?
