Default mm i got an old celica with 20r engine.. im buying a new engine pretty soon. what can i
do to upgrade my car!? what can you do to these cars.. or these engines. to make them.. idk faster? haha.. i like my car, ive already put new brakes, tires. and lots of stuff on it haha. any suggestions?=0

this improving the celica question must come up every week..nothing the car wasnt designed to be a race car, just a economy car that looks sporty..buy the time u modify that car to make it perform better you could have brought a 90s supra twin turbo..

That last answer doesn't seem to know much about Celicas. You don't have to spend that much money. Here's my favorite website on the topic:

Someone asked the same question about an older Toyota truck as well. Everything that alpplies to the Truck applies to the pre-1986 Celica as well. you can upgrade it to a 22R or fuel injected 22RE. You can even upgrade to the fuel injected turbocharged 22RTE. Also you will see stuff like just a head swap from another vintage getting good results. Go faster? You bet your life it will.
