Default Is my 2001 Toyota 4Runner V6 EFI 4-wheel drive?
Just purchased it, but don't see anywhere where it says 4-wheel drive or rear wheel...

Easiest way is to look down toward the shift-gate when you're sitting in the driver's seat. If you have a 2wd truck, you will only have the transmission shift lever. If you have a 4wd truck, you will have another, smaller shift lever to change between 2wd, 4wd and 4wd/Lo.

Next to your Gear Shifter.































If it doesn't have 2 levers. One for shifting the Transmission and the other for shifting it in and out of 4WD it doesn't have it. It's 2WD.
