Default 1994 Toyota pickup 4x4 Dual exhaust and how to get better gas mileage?
Hey recently bought a used 1994 toyota pickup 4x4 with 220000 miles on it. The previous owner said it only has 50000 miles on motor and transmition. It has a 4 Inch lift with 33 inch tires. I got a budget of around 400$ for the dual exhaust. I was wondering what dual exhaust is compatible with my truck and would be best for 400 dollars (400$ installed). And it gets about 11 miles to the gallon -.- wondering if there are any ways i can get better gas mileage.

A k&N air filter will help out alot...It,ll cost you about 35 or 40 bucks...Have two sets of tires and wheels also...One for wheeling and the other for the street(stock ones)....A header will also help if your state does,nt have smog laws like ours in calif....Is it an auto or a stick???If it is an auto then a front and rear gear change in the pinions will help two...The autos have 3.73 gears and the 5 speeds have 4.11 gears...With larger tires the gears make a world of difference....Shaving the heads of the engine will also help....You will get more power with more compression...Check out www.LCengineering for after market parts for your 4 runner....
