Is A 2000-2002 Toyota Solara A Real "Girl Car"?

Default Is A 2000-2002 Toyota Solara A Real "Girl Car"?
I am 16 and looking at what cars I would like when I get my license since you have to be 17 in NJ. I see the Toyota Solara as a good choice since I prefer a coupe over a sedan, has front wheel drive since rear wheel drive is a no-no since roads can get pretty slippery in the winter, and Toyotas are known for their reliability and build quality. Is that a "girl car"? I have read online that some people say it is, and some say it isn't. Would having it as a convertible make it less favorable for a guy to be seen in? Thanks for any help!

It's fine. Most coupe cars in the eyes of some people are "girl cars" since they're small and compact. Do not get a convertible car (especially if it's not a hard top convertible), they're extremely problematic.

I'd say it's a girl car. Kind of like the Eclipse, Cougar and Beetle. My friends 50 year old mom has a solar. It's really hard to imagine a dude Driving one. Just my opinion though, maybe I'm wrong.

I am a male. I owna masculine 1999, jet black, two door SLE cp with sport wheels, dripping in leather and wood trim, and power moon roof to kiss the girls underneath the stars. Every head turns when I drive my black glistening Solara down the road. It is not a girl's car. Only homophobic people would say that. Just because women like a car doesn't mean it's a girl car. Only narrow minded idiots think that. My Solara is the best car I've ever owned. Stunning. And to this day, it turns the heads of every male and female that looks at it. Fabulous car. Buy it! You will LOVE it..haha, and so will the girls you pick up in it..!
