Default corolla 2007 steering wheel?
I have a toyota corolla 2007 car. The steering wheel is a little stiff to turn. Whenever I am parking, I have to press my hand hard against the steering wheel to turn the car. I have driven 2009 corolla, camry and other car, and the steering wheel is very easy to use. Please help!

if it is power steering make sure every thing is ok there such as power steering oil.

Make sure your tires are not low on pressure. Soft tires are very hard to turn at low speeds or at a standstill. Check your power steering fluid. Since the car is only 2 years old, the serpentine belt that drives the power steering and everything else should surely still be good. If you have under 36000 miles on the car, it is still under full warranty. Take it to the dealer to have it checked.

Check your powersteering oil.















Possibly your ball joints.















Possibly air in your powersteering box or the pipe line.

I'll bet anything your power steering fluid is low. I'll also bet you've never done ANY maintenance at all, IE: oil change, air filter, coolant, etc. That car isn't gonna last too long if you continue to neglect it.
