Hi, I'm looking for an MR2 roadster?..?
only problem is, they are prone to big end problems. Obviously Toyota extended their warranty to 7yrs (or 100,000 miles). I'm so worried that I am going to buy one where the 'knocking' noise has been covered up, and 3 months down the line the engine blows? The only real way to be sure is to buy one that's had the engine re-build under warranty? It's so hard to know a genuine from one that's been covered up. I'm looking for one 2000-2004 £7k max. Can any one help? Thanks
My uncle has worked for Toyota for 42 years.. Yes, I no, it is also same engine as Celica......Yes, it can be covered up. Providing u stick a couple of new shelves in, and thicken up the oil. JEEZ, thanks for the GREAT HELP
