so my buddy is in a pickle and needs to pay off a ticket.. he offered me his 94 celica for 300$ even the engine is in great condition... the car has 210ooo miles on it and the body has mass dents on it due to a sledge hammer and the back passenger side window is broken.. there is pretty much no bumper on the back but i guess its considered a cut short bumper so it wont scrape.. dont know much about car but i realize 300$ is freakin cheap. my question is, IS IT WORTH IT?? and secondly how much might it run me to fix the back window dents on the passenger side and the bumper problem... not an over all cost but individually.
to elaborate on the damage it was his uncles car that likes to race n shit but got his license away so got drunk and hit the car a couple times with a sledge hammer and broke the window on accident but decided he couldnt drive anymore so gave it to me friend who then drove up from az to wa and when he got here needed to pay off the ticket. if that makes a difference on why its dented n stuff..
didn't everyone tell you not to buy it the first time you asked? don't buy it! that is, if you're going to make it a daily driver. if it's a project car/money pit, and you're gonna do your own version of pimp my ride, then go get it.
