AE86 SR5 drift car? Can it become into a drift machine with mods?

Default AE86 SR5 drift car? Can it become into a drift machine with mods?
Ok I know that the gts is for drifting can I work with an sr5? That seems to be the only ae86 I can find to buy. Is it worth buying? Or gts all the way? I know the sr5 has a weaker engine can it still become a beast?

I have seen that model drifting with no problems best bet is to get on the forums for advice and mods for that car.

It'll take more mods to make it have power since the SR5 came with a 4A-C (sohc) whereas the GTS came with a 4A-GE (dohc). But sure, throw on an LSD, coilovers, and a beefy rear sway bar, and you can have a beginners drift car.
