How to adjust the idle on an 1987 Toyota MR2?

Default How to adjust the idle on an 1987 Toyota MR2?
I have the standard model engine (no turbo, no supercharger). The engine seems to idle high around 1500 rpm and I don't think that is normal. What rpm should it be at? 750 rpm?

yes it should be at 750-800...but when i had mine..i set it at 1300-1500....it gives you better acceleration and less lag....but you could adjust it by the screw at the throttle..just have your car running and slowly turn it...going one way will increase the airflow and the rpm while the other way will decrease it...
