Default I've just bought a 3 yr old Toyota MR2. It has a small spoiler, which I don't like. Would
it be easy to remove? I love the shape of this car, especially the back so I would prefer the spoiler wasn't there. Will it need a lot of work to remove it and have it in mint condition still?

yes u can but u will have holes in the trunk lid































its held on by nuts and bolts...















Im assuming its OEM...















so its held on my bolts...















im pretty sure...















i never heard of glue on body parts

Factory installed or aftermarket? Bolted on or glued? Brake light in it or not?















The answer to these questions would determine how hard it is to remove.

Don't listen to these dumb answers. Call your Toyota Dealer and it should be Cheap to remove. If you do it yourself all you have to do it unscrew. Can you use a screw drive? And for the holes, tape them up or go to your local body shop and let them repair it. I did it with my Honda Civic

Just check with your insurance company as it changes the car from the factory standard, there is normally a reason for a spoiler being there...i.e to provide down-force at certain speeds to improve car handling, ask your dealer too.















As for the fact that some models may NOT have the spoiler, this may be because it's a lower spec, and isn't tuned to the same degree as the cars fitted with it.
