Default Tires for my 1991 Toyota Pickup?
I own a 1991 Toyota Pickup (4 cyl., 4WD). I am planning on lifting the body about 4 in. and am wondering what tires to buy. I was told my truck wouldnt have enough power to drive anything around 35 in. I am wanting it to sit a little higher but nothing too big. Also I want wider tires than u have now (stock). I have no idea how tires are sized so what do you reccommend?

Hopefully you plan on using a suspension lift for part of the 4 inches, because a 4" body lift would look very stupid. Your stock wheels are either 15x 6 or 15x 7, so a good size to look at are either 235/75R15 or 30x9.5R15, depending on brand. Go to a local tire store and see what they recommend for your vehicle.

I completely agree about the 4 Inch Body Lift being stupid.































It would be dangerous and would require a lot of cutting.































With 4 inches of lift you could run 35's and it would work. But be rather Sluggish.































Regear with some 5.29's and you'll be set.

they only make 2 in and 1 in body lift for a reaons because your going to have to extend all your brake lines your steering collunm rod and all your wireing for your lights etc. as for tires just get a 31-10.50r15 like bfg all terrain for all season. any bigger lift you want suspension i know its expensive since it got an independent front suspension but thats just way it is man, ya know.
