Default 2005 Toyota Camry problem non working cig lighter?
My 2005 Toyota Camry, cigarette lighter does not work. Changed fuse inside the car for cigarette lighter, still didn't work. Was told there is another fuse under hood, didn't see anything labeled cig lighter or aux. Please help me.

dose your clock work?your radio?if yes then its the socket itself,ether the plug came off or the lighter is no good,do you use the lighter?do you touch the cigarette to the red coil in the lighter?this can cause the coil to brake and not work,if it looks good then you need to pop the cluster out to see if its unplugged.this all assuming you did change the right fuse,fuses could blow with cheap chargers(for cells or gps ,whatever)

My 99 camry cig lighter went out too.. Toyota dealer told me it would cost over $150.00 to fix it. ...I said no thanks, next time I'll buy a Honda. Goodbye Toyota.
