Default when will colored tires start the new futuristic trend?
i rocked the silver tires with the silver impala but was the only person i've ever seen with tires that was not black. whats up with that? Am i sitting on a billion dollar idea or am i just trippin?

Added pigments to the rubber compound will likely weaken the tire and lower the mileage. there are already so many tire sizes a store must have on hand they are not going to have room to stock multiple colors. Doesn't mean there isn't a market for the idea just not a manufacturer or retailer likely to venture into this.

Kumho has had clored smoke tires for a couple of years and i do not see that they have really taken off. I feel the same about colored tires. I do not see it happening. But who knows.
